Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow founder Emmanuel Lacoste has lived and worked overseas for most of his life. In his years spent as a school administrator outside of the United States, he noticed that youth who are globally minded have skills are not always taught in American schools – the skills of blending into a second culture, the willingness to try new things, and the ability to effectively communicate. The attributes will be the keys to success in the 21st century global economy.
With that in mind, Emmanuel founded Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow in 2019 to provide free programs and activities that are designed to help Los Angeles-area youth develop these skills.
Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow is currently soliciting applications for board members. We are a new organization, and we look forward to filling out our board with professionals and community members passionate about equipping area students with the skills they will need to find success in the 21st century.
